Welcome to AWA ÄTUU! We are committed to providing you with an exceptional shopping experience, including efficient and reliable shipping services. Please review our shipping policy below for information on shipping options, delivery times, costs, and more.

1. Shipping Destinations
AWA ÄTUU offers both domestic and international shipping. We proudly ship worldwide to most countries. However, please note that there may be restrictions on shipping to certain locations due to customs regulations.

2. Pre-Order Model
- We are a small brand working with a pre-order model. All pieces are made by hand and made to order. Pre-orders will be open until December 31st, 2024 or until items are sold out. Orders will start being shipped out to all locations starting from January 2025. 
- During high-demand periods (e.g., launches, promotions), processing times may be slightly longer.
- You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped, including tracking information.

3. Shipping Options & Estimated Delivery Times: 
- Items will begin worldwide delivery in January 2025. 

4. International Shipping
- Due to current Shopify restrictions ALL orders outside The United States will be taken via email: awaatuu@gmail.com until our location restrictions are available. 

Please note that shipping times are estimates and may vary due to customs delays or other unforeseen factors.

5. Shipping Costs
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on the size, weight, and destination of the package. We strive to offer competitive rates for all our customers.
- Free shipping on all West African orders: currently operating in Ghana and Togo with availability in Nigeria soon. 

6. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (For International Orders)
- Import duties, taxes, and customs fees may be incurred once the shipment reaches your destination country. Awa Atuu is not responsible for these charges, which are determined by local customs.
- You are responsible for paying any such additional charges.
- Customs policies vary widely; please contact your local customs office for more information on duties and taxes.

7. Order Tracking
- You will receive a tracking number once your order has shipped.
- We are using a pre-order model and tracking numbers will be sent out in January 2025. 

8. Lost or Stolen Packages
AWA ÄTUU is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.
- If you believe your package was lost or stolen, please reach out to the shipping carrier using your tracking information.

9. Address Changes & Order Cancellations
- If you need to change your shipping address or cancel an order, please contact us at awaatuu@gmail.com within 24 hours of placing the order.
- We cannot guarantee address changes or cancellations after this window as the order may have already been processed.
